Art has no boundaries…

I've always tried to express myself artistically through as many outlets as possible. After graduating from RIT in Rochester NY with a Bachelors in Illustration, I found myself drawn (pardon the pun) to tattooing because it gave me the opportunity to explore freelance illustration from a very unique and personally rewarding perspective. I went on to own and operate one of the most successful tattoo shops in all of New York State. To this day people still come to me for artwork because of the great relationships I enjoy building with my clients, and the fact that they know they can rely on me for a great design.

With my music I was able to combine my two great loves of audio and visual art together to make 7 full length albums which are enjoyed by fans worldwide. People often ask me which I love better-making music or making art. I tell them it’s all art to me and I really do love it all. I take great pride in not only writing most of the music and lyrics to all of our 1916 albums, but in creating all the promotional artwork that goes along with the band as well. There is a certain aesthetic I aim for with the band that I could see easily translating into a film franchise or gaming company. Like any client, I try to understand the emotional response across the board the person is looking to achieve through the composition they’re asking me to compose.
